About Us

Bob's BBQ has been in the Newton/Des Moines area since 1973. Bob Howe (our Grandfather) loves to barbeque and has built all of our grills and taught us everything there is about great barbeque.

We love to cook and know what it takes to make an event sucessful. We have catered all different types of events to name a few:  small business meetings, fancy weddings, downhome style weddings, open houses, golf outings, retirement parties, company/family picnics, Ragbrai, Des Moines Art Festival, fundraisers, thank you banquets, and rehersal dinners.
